Town House Bed and Breakfast is situated just sixty yards from the main High Street with its beautifully preserved and famous medieval castle, which resisted the invasion of Oliver Cromwell’s men in the English Civil war for 3 years until the residents were “Starved out,” as well as the highly acclaimed and award winning, street market. The Leeds to Liverpool canal runs nearby and you can enjoy the tranquil setting to the full by taking advantage of one of Pennine Cruisers sightseeing trips at a nice leisurely pace.

We opened our doors for business little over a year ago, but have already established a good reputation for quality, comfort and affordable accommodation. Couple this with a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and you are sure to enjoy your stay to the full. Our focus is on offering a premiere quality service, which is accessible to all.

We offer most of the facilities that any discerning traveller might expect or ask for including all en-suite rooms with TV, Sky, DVD player, FREE movie hire, FREE walking guides and FREE Wi-Fi (all subject to a refundable deposit), tea and coffee, and perhaps most importantly for such a central location, ample parking.

We always try to accommodate differing needs and therefore offer both a full English breakfast and vegetarian option. For those who stay with us on business, we can also offer a packed-lunch option by arrangement.

Skipton bus station is a mere seventy-five yards away from our premises and the train station is just under (0.4) half a mile away. With regular transport links to most of the major towns and cities, you can do much of your exploring via public transport should you wish to. We are perfectly located for exploring all that Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales with it’s magnificent National Park, has to offer.
