We're ideally situated to take advantage of the best North Yorkshire has to offer. The North York Moors is a special place, forged by nature, shaped over generations - where peace and beauty rub shoulders with a rich history and a warm welcome.
Kilburn is a picturesque village nestled underneath Sutton Bank on the edge of the North York Moors.
The village is famous for the White Horse of Kilburn (cut into the side of Sutton Bank overlooking the village), and also Robert Thompson, the craftsman who is known for his carved mouse trademark.
In addition to the Mouseman Visitor Centre gift-shop and cafe, the village features a traditional country pub and 12th century church.
Walkers & cyclists are warmly welcomed, and the local area has much to attract both. Take a walk through Kilburn woods past the White Horse and on to the top of Sutton Bank, for breathtaking panoramic views.
Yorkshire now boasts the largest number of Michelin Starred restaurants than any other county in England outside of London. The Black Swan at Oldstead, a Michelin Star, and 3 AA Rosette pub and restaurant is only 5min drive from Kilburn.
There are also an abundance of great local pubs serving wholesome hearty meals.
