Firs Farm is home to Richard and Sarah and sheep, chickens a horse and a couple of dogs, in the sleepy Hamlet of Healey close to Masham
Your day will start with a great choice at breakfast and all cooked to order. Local produced is used where ever possible including Wensleydale butter, award winning black pudding, eggs from our own chickens. Vegetarian options are available. We try to cater fo all diets. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
We have three bedrooms, 2 en-suite and a super king/twin room with private bathroom just across the landing. Lovely crisp linen, fluffy towels, dressing gowns and slippers, a tea tray in each room, with home made flap jack.
Two rooms have window seats and views across the valley.
Guests have their own private Lounge with open Fire in winter and garden access in the summer. A separate dining room.
All rooms are individually furnished with luxury country style furnishing.
You are welcoming to join in lambing in the spring.

The list of attractions is endless, from outdoor activities How Stean Gorge, Fountains Abbey, Swinton Riding Centre, walking,breweries, Spirit of Masham gin experience, market towns, castles, Artison in Masham, where you can try your hand at a new craft.

Richmond Market a town has the Green Howard’s Museum, Georgian Theatre, Castle as well as lovely square
Masham hosts many things throughout the year from, steam rallies, Saturday Markets, the famous Sheep Fair in September.
Drive across the moors to Nidderdale and explore the lovely high street of Pateley Bridge or venture up the Dale to Leyburn and Hawes, or up to Reeth and on to the highest Pub in England Tan Hill and come back via Buttertups Pass and Swaledale.
Of course if you are happy to travel a bit further you could drive across the North York Moors and visit Whitby, or take a trip on the North York’s Railway.
Harrogate a spa town, valley gardens, RHS Harlow Carr, the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms.
York is within an hours drive, A lovely City within the Minster, The Railway Museum, the walls, The Dungeon, Yorvik, the castle museum to name a few things.
There are many agricultural shows through the summer months.
