A warm welcome awaits you at The Old Post Cottage in a small quiet unspoilt conservation village. Previously a Victorian cottage, and the village post office, now tastefully extended to maintain its character; old wooden beams rustic oak doors yet modern facilities to ensure a really comfortable stay.


There is a choice of family/double/twin or single rooms with en-suite, and two double/twin rooms with shared facilities, from £25 per person. All have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and glorious views across open fields. Full English breakfast is provided in a farmhouse style kitchen with a traditional old Aga or enjoy continental breakfast with homemade preserves. We cater for vegetarians. Wireless network available.

Guests are welcome to relax in the guest lounge or take a stroll through the village of Lillingstone Lovell with its 14th Century church (tower built in 1210), thatched cottages, and wealth of history with records dating back pre Norman Conquest.
There are many country walks leading directly from the house on public footpaths, discover, listen and experience the local wild life. Little has changed here over the last 150 years


A good base for visiting a wide area of central England with all its beauty, history and interest…there is a wealth of National Trust Properties nearby and we are not far from the Cotswolds, or Stratford upon Avon.
