The Hillcrest Bed and Breakfast is a small family run business. Although set in rolling Northamptonshire countryside it is convenient for both Northampton and Wellingborough. Silverstone formula 0ne racing circuit is only 16 miles away, and Althorp, final resting place of the late Princess of Wales 12 miles.

There are several places to eat in nearby Mears Ashby and Sywell, as well as Earls Barton which is a large village and only a mile away and where you will find almost anything you need. There is a large co-op store, library, wonderful chemist/gift shop which serves coffee and delicious lunches, and several other places to eat, 4 Hairdressers, 2 Estate Agents, 4 churches, Dentist, 2 Doctors surgeries and much more. Earls Barton All Saints Church is featured in many tourist guides with its famous Saxon Tower, and Sywell Reservoir and Country Park is within walking distance and provides a three and a half mile walk and Victorian Arboretum.

In nearby Mears Ashby you will find the Beckworth Emporium with its award winning butchers and organic food section. A gardener's paradise and offering scrumptious cakes with coffee and healthy tempting lunches, it is well worth a visit.

We have tried to think of everything for your comfort and needs, and we encourage guests to ask if they have special requirements. Here at the Hillcrest we have three rooms (The Pink Room, The Green Room and the Blue Room) two double rooms with private bath/shower rooms (Pink and Green) and a small single room (blue Room)

All our rooms have flat screened television, small silent fridges with fresh milk provided, where guests can keep any food to enjoy during their stay. Rooms are warm and luxuriously appointed with modern traditional furnishings and power showers. Breakfast is served in our Dining Room between 7.30 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. where you can enjoy a huge variety of cereals with fresh fruit, quality fruit juices and yoghourt,

The traditional English breakfast is always popular, or a lighter option with poached or scrambled eggs on toast, We are always happy to get anything you would like that we do not normally supply if you let us know the night before, but we feel confident that we have almost everything!
