The beautiful cheviots hills or coquet valley is a must for walkers or ramblers Alnwick is 45 minutes from Newcastle by car or 15minutes by rail which is linked by the bus service from Alnwick to Alnmouth station is approximately 5 minutes bus ride or you may want to visit the Metro Centre which is approximately 30 minutes drive from Alnwick.

If you feel in need some retail therapy to reach Alnwick there is a rail link from most major cities to Alnmouth then by bus or taxi to Alnwick.
