Breakfast is served in the dining room which overlooks the terraced garden. We strive to offer the best of local and homemade produce - Northumberland sausages, bacon and black pudding from a local, award winning butcher; Craster kippers and smoked salmon; homemade granola, natural yoghurt and fresh fruit salad.
Guests enjoy relaxing in the large terraced garden and afternoon tea/coffee is served on the garden terrace or in the guest lounge overlooking the garden.
Warkworth is one of Northumberland's most attractive villages. An easy stroll down the hill and over the original 17th century bridge spanning the Coquet River will take you to the centre of the village where you will find an interesting selection of shops and galleries, teashops, pubs and restaurants. The Coquet River wraps round three sides of the village while the massive keep of Warkworth Castle dominates the high ground.
Just a short drive, or a twenty minute stroll, is the magnificent beach which forms part of the coastal path in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Warkworth is an ideal base to explore Northumberland and is close to the towns of Amble with its marina and Alnwick, famous for its Castle and the Alnwick Garden.
