North Shotton Farmhouse

Visit our beautiful 18th century farmhouse located in a small hamlet with comfortable ensure rooms.

We are ideally placed for visiting the vibrant city of Newcastle or taking in the breathtaking coastline and hills of Northumberland. We offer a delicious breakfast too!

Our bedrooms are light and airy with large windows and a super king sized bed, fluffy towels and hot drinks making facilities. En suite shower room and Wifi is available.

The room also boasts a large double wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and digital TV.

For an extra good nights sleep you can close our large sash window shutters to make the room pitch black and extra quiet, perfect for those light sleepers.

A home cooked breakfast is included in the price, with a choice of fresh fruit, cereals, toast and preserves, pastries or a cooked breakfast.

Our breakfast will set you up perfectly for a day of exploring.

The farmhouse is situation half a mile from the A1 and half a mile south of the village of Stannington. The Ridley Arms pub is situation within the village, serving delicious food and offering a great beer garden for the warm summer nights and toasty coal fires in the winter.
There are regular buses that pass the bottom of the farm road, heading North and south. Morpeth is a 10 minute drive away, Alnwick 25 minutes, Newcastle 15 minutes.

You will be greeted on arrival, shown to your room. Once you have settled in and made a brew, we invite you to select what they would like for breakfast the following morning from our delicious breakfast menu.

Guests will be given their own front door key, let yourself in after enjoying dinner at the local pub and strolling home.
