Come and visit the beautiful Cotswolds, or visit and London is only 40 minutes from Oxford by train.

Hawthorn House is located on the edge of the Cotswolds. All rooms have lovely views either over-looking our large rear garden or the Windrush Valley. All the rooms are furnished to a high standard including en-suite. Some of the rooms also have baths as well as showers in them. There are tea/coffee making facilities. Blenheim Palace is only 10 miles away. You can reach the Cotswolds, Bath and even London in approx 1 hour. Golf and fishing are available nearby, also water sports. At the local golf club, ladies can pamper themselves in the spa and take a dip in the pool, or maybe the gym.

Special rates area available at the Golf Club, please call us for details. Oxford is 10 miles away also, where you can visit the many universities. Witney itself is an old blanket town, where there is a museum and working farm museum.

Cotswold Wildlife Park is close by also. Stratford upon Avon (Shakespeare's country) is nearby and Broadway.

During the winter there are still places to visit ie museums in Oxford, and in the evenings you can enjoy a meal in one of the local eateries, by the fire.

For shopping you may want to visit Bicester Village or Swindon outlet, where many designer labels are much cheaper, or there is Cheltenham, which is only 40 minutes away. London is only 40 minutes by train or you could travel by bus into London for the many attractions.
