Wheatcroft is a Grade 2 listed building, formerly The Wheatsheaf Inn, built from local Cotswold stone in the early/mid 17th century, it was converted into a private house in the 1960's.
Wheatcroft is on the edge of the picturesque village of Fritwell, 5 minute from Junction 10 of the M40, 6 miles from Bicester, 12 miles south of Banbury, 15 miles north of Oxford with it's wealth of shops, theatres, museums and historic buildings.
Ideally situated for travel in the middle of England, within easy access of the M40 for Birmingham/London, A43 Northampton/Silverstone, A34 Oxford and the south.
High speed trains from Bicester North to London Marylebone, travel time approximately 40 minutes.
Very sunny rooms overlooking a pleasant garden and the surrounding countryside. Guests have use of a snug TV room, with a wood burner, adjoining the kitchen/breakfast area, which has an aga.
