Acorn Place
Acorn Place B&B is a lovely, 1930s house surrounded by farmland, with views in all directions, including Ludlow Castle and St. Laurence’s church. Set just on the edge of town, we are within walking distance of the town centre and its excellent pubs and restaurants.
With plenty of on-site parking, we are a handy option for those wishing to relax in a rural setting while also enjoying Ludlow’s many historic, gastronomic and independent shopping delights.
We offer delicious breakfasts made, wherever possible, from local produce. As fellow guardians of the UK’s Slow Food movement, we aim to continue Ludlow’s reputation as a high quality destination for Foodies. If you have special dietary requests, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to cater for your needs.
For those who wish to self-cater, you do so in our Clee Hill and Whitcliffe rooms.
The Acorn Place B&B garden has a number of seating areas in which to relax. Enjoy watching our local rabbits, lambs, cows, buzzards, ducks and other bird or animal life, depending on the time of year you visit.
Once you have settled in, you may choose to go for a Shropshire country walk from the front door - some of the many walking and sightseeing opportunities may tempt you away from your comfy chair and good book. Have a look at our local area page for various suggestions, come rain or shine. Or ask us for thoughts and ideas.
We have a strict no smoking policy throughout our house
