Visit Ludlow castle and markets (food, antique, vintage and general ) also Michelin starred restaurants.
Shrewsbury for shopping and good food,
Acton Scott working farm museum.

Ironbridge Gorge and Museums which are amongst the best in the world including Blists Hill working Victorian museum, it is the birthplace of the industrial revolution.
Craven Arms has the Discovery Centre museum, Stokesay Castle a fortified Manor house and Micky Millers Playbarn which is great fun for the children.
In Church Stretton there is the Long Mynd and Cardingmill Valley places of stunning walks and natural beauty also there is a glider and hang glider centre on the top of the Long Mynd.

For golfers Ludlow and Church Stretton have courses. For swimmers there are leisure pools at Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Presteigne and the Long Mynd Hotel in Church Stretton and there is a wave pool in Kiddiminster.

During your stay you should visit the newly restored Hopton Castle, which is now open for the public to visit. The grounds of the castle are the perfect place for a picnic, or to just sit and chill and relax. Nearby is the Hopton Mountain biking course.
Go-karting is available near Presteigne, which also has the renowned Judges Lodges Museum.
