The Coach House is a country house bed and breakfast situated in the conservation village of Norbury in the stunning South Shropshire Hills.

Come and find out exactly why they are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s a veritable playground for walkers, cyclists and photographers. The Shropshire Way passes within one mile of Norbury and there are a multitude of walks for all levels available from the front door.

The peaceful, bucolic landscapes are perfect for romantic breaks or anybody seeking respite from a busy urban life.

We are also the perfect venue for large group or family reunions.

Formerly the Sun Inn, our ancient building has been providing accommodation, warmth & hospitality for guests since the 1700’s. Relax in our fully licensed lounge next to our wood burning stove with a good book, a glass of wine or a locally made artisanal beer.

We currently have 6 well appointed rooms. 5 are en-suite and 1 has a private bathroom with roll top bath. All rooms have luxurious beds and bedding to guarantee a great nights sleep. Rooms are equipped with flat screen TV’s, tea and coffee making facilities & organic toiletries. We have free on-site car parking and free wi-fi internet access.

Food is our passion. We provide a lavish breakfast for all guests and can happily provide lunch and dinner by arrangement or cater for large groups. Our food is home-made and we bake our own sourdough bread daily. We believe in using local, seasonal ingredients and showcasing local artisan producers as much as we can.

The Coach House is run by Lexi and Sean Morris who recently returned from France to get married and start a new life in Shropshire. Their last venture was a start up ski chalet in the French Alps, which gained a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in only its second year. Lexi has been studying a degree in wine science in New Zealand, so she knows a thing or two about grapes. You can be sure that our wine list will give you plenty of reason to smile. Sean is a keen photographer and cook. Inspired by his grandmothers cooking from an early age, he looks to comfort you with rustic, home cooked food.
