Since March 2016, The Moorhead B&B is under new ownership by myself Rebecca and my partner Phil.

We are a three-bedroom B&B based in 50 acres of private, secluded farmland in Edstaston, Wem, Shropshire. There is also a guest lounge, dining room and free Wi-Fi throughout the house.

This unique location offers a widespread choice of amenities varying from cycling, bird watching, walking, or if you just want to escape the city life and soak up the beautiful Shropshire countryside here in the private grounds of The Moorhead B&B. T

herefore, we are ideally based for those visiting the area, whether it’s for work, rest or play. There are also many tourist attractions located in the Shropshire area.

We have 3 large guest rooms at The Moorhead to ensure you have a relaxing stay & comfortable nights’ rest. All rooms are situated on the first floor of the house and have modern ensuite shower rooms.

Breakfast is included in all room rates and is served 7am until 9am in the guests dining room which has a choice of 3 tables for guests to dine at. And on cold mornings the roaring log fire will greet you. Where possible we serve fresh eggs from our hens.

Guests may also use the lounge which has a TV, open fire and plenty of board games to keep everyone occupied. We are situated at the end of a long sweeping drive which is secured with electric gates.

We have secure parking available for all guests and motorcycles can be parked and secured in our garage/carport. We are a pet friendly residence although pets are not allowed inside the house, we do have outside accommodation to suit your pets needs. (Please call prior to your stay to ensure we can prepare your pets accommodation.)
