Kenella House
Kenella House is an elegantly renovated Victorian town house offering luxury en-suite accommodation. Totally smoke free; all rooms have a generous beverage tray, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, trouser press, TV and many 'extra touches'. A ground floor double room is available. Off road car parking.
Optional evening meals are available by arrangement and we use local produce wherever available.
Traditional full English breakfast is served at individual tables in our comfortable dining room. Lighter options are offered as an alternative if required.
Walkers and lovers of outdoor pursuits are welcome and we have heated coat and boot cupboards. Secure storage is available for bicycles.
We do not accommodate children under 14 or pets.
Kenella House is just a short level walk from the town centre, the seafront promenade, the start of the South West Coast Path and the West Somerset Steam Railway.
Minehead has much to offer with plenty of interesting independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
The medieval village of Dunster is a short drive away or can be walked by the more energetic. Here you can visit the old Dunster Castle owned by the National Trust. Dunster by candlelight is an annual event held the first Friday and Saturday in December.
There are beautiful walks around the area with Exmoor just a short climb up the magnificent North Hill. The views from the top are breathtaking. Porlock is a short 8-mile drive away and can be walked on the South West Coast Path. The pretty little villages of Selworthy, Bossington and Allerford are worth a visit on the way with their 'chocolate box thatched cottages'.
