Culmhead House

Culmhead House offers you the opportunity to relax in our spacious suites and grounds. Our location is ideal should you be driving further south, to stop for a night and relax and stretch those legs. Kids love the gardens and the trampoline is a favourite. Or come and stay for a wile and enjoy our lovely countryside.

We are 30 minutes from Exmoor and The beautiful Quantock Hills. The south coast including Lyme Regis and Exeter are only 35 mins away.

Our dining room is, so we are told, a lovely room to breakfast in and we look forward to welcoming you to stay at Culmhead.

Taunton is only 6 miles away and offers all the attractions and shops you might need; large supermarkets, cinemas, Taunton is the home of Somerset Cricket. Taunton Race Course is under ten minutes from us.

We are spoilt with an abundance of fine pubs, some within walking distance, all offering good food and lovely settings.

Exeter Airport is ONLY 30 minutes away. We can pick up a party, at a small cost, and should you be planning a family celebration we are ideally suited for you or guests to stay.

All our suite s offer one or two bedrooms with extra beds should you be a family. Each suite has its own bathroom, own sitting room and kitchen. There is plenty of car parking on the estate. Walking, shooting, fishing are all available. One needs to arrange such activities well in advance with us.

We are open all year round, however we are always receiving enquiries so it is best to contact us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Our rates vary throughout the year, however we charge £40- £50.0 per person per night. Children under 3 are free and 50% discount for under fourteens.
