Hartnells B&B
Sue and Tony personally welcome you to Hartnells with the offer of tea and home made cakes. We take pride in making you feel at home with all you would expect from a four star B&B, including our famous breakfasts, cooked to order from local produce and home made breads and preserves.
We have two letting suites. One is a double with en-suite on the ground floor, the other is a family suite with a double & single room with a bathroom which is up a private staircase. We do not let the single if the double is booked first to ensure your privacy! All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and home made biscuits. Double rooms have super king sized beds that can be arranged as twin beds if preferred. There is a guest sitting room downstairs.
We encourage the use of our lovely garden after your journey or take time to let off steam on the recreation ground accessed from the rear of our property.
We are situated near the centre of this thriving village with its many facilities including banks, a post office and a pharmacy. We are within walking distance of several pubs, and an Indian restaurant and can also recommend other places to eat within a short drive away.
There is much to do nearby. Williton Station for the West Somerset Steam Railway is a hub for connections from Taunton to Minehead. There are several small museums within a 7 mile radius. The small ancient harbour town of Watchet just a mile away and worth exploring, as is Dunster Castle on Dunster Tor above the medieval village.
Walkers will find that Hartnells is an ideal stopping point to explore Somerset, being close to The Quantock Hills, Exmoor and the coastal paths. There are so many fantastic views and peaceful countryside in this beautiful county. We are sure that you would enjoy a stay with us at Hartnells!
