Ammonite Lodge provides bed and breakfast holiday accommodation in Chard, near the Somerset / Devon / Dorset border.

Enjoy 300 years of ambience and character in our Grade II listed Guest House, which has been awarded Four Stars from the VisitBritain National Quality Assurance Standard.

We offer guests a very high standard of accommodation and cleanliness, and alongside our bed and breakfast accommodation we can also offer guests free WiFi connection. Caroline and Jeremy look forward to welcoming you to their lovely home and aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Our double and twin rooms are from £65.00 per room per night and our single rooms are charged from £40 per night.

Ammonite Lodge has seven very comfortable bedrooms (three doubles, two twins and two singles), two of which have full private bathrooms. All other rooms are fully en-suite. All bedrooms are equipped with a colour TV, hair dryer, radio alarm clock, bathroom toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating. Ironing facilities and a trouser press are available if required.

After a restful night in one of our bedrooms, guests awake to a tasty English breakfast in the inglenook dining room. Vegetarian and Vegan alternatives are also available.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am Monday - Saturday, and 8.30am - 9.30am on Sundays.

Food suppliers are sourced locally, wherever possible.

Chard is perfectly situated to enjoy all the South West has to offer - with shopping available nearby at Taunton, Exeter or even Bristol and the south cost nearby. Visit Chard and in just a short drive you can be exploring the Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis and Charmouth!
