Guests are more than welcome to sit out in the garden and on our sunny patio area after a day exploring Exmoor National Park with its heather moorland, river valleys, pretty thatched cottages.
The location is perfect for those who wish to explore on foot, mountain bikes or on horse back, with easy access to thousands of acres of open moorland and river valleys or just to relax and explore by car. We have stabling available if you wish to bring your horse with you and explore Exmoor.
The area has many popular tourist attractions including West Somerset Steam Railway, the medieval village of Dunster with its National Trust run castle, Tarr Steps, Lorna Doone country and the north Devon surfing beaches not too far away.
The country towns of Dulverton and South Molton - which has a twice weekly market are popular places to visit. Both have more unusual shops for you to browse and spent!
The popular seaside town of Minehead - the gateway to Exmoor National Park is about 10 miles from Combeshead and has the usual shops and supermarkets, harbour and beach. There are excellent views across to South Wales and up the West Somerset coast. The beaches of Blue Anchor and Dunster are very popular with locals and visitors to the area.
