Mariners Lodge Bed & Breakfast by the Sea
At Mariners Lodge Country House bed and breakfast we have two spacious double bedrooms with their own private bathrooms.
The Gold Room is light, airy and spacious with stunning coastal views and has its own separate loo and a large bathroom with a bath and super big shower unit, only one step away from the bedroom.
The Blue Room is also spacious light and airy with coastal views and also has its own private bathroom right next door. Both rooms have hospitality trays. They also have binoculars and reference books for you to use.
We have a delightful and comfortable Morning Room with its lovely views, television, wi fi and stereo for your use during your stay.
We can also provide delicious evening meals for you during your stay. Just give us some prior notice please!
We also have a lovely well maintained garden you may use to enjoy our wonderful views and observe the local wildlife.
Mariners Lodge Bed and Breakfast is situated in Exmoor National Park and by the sea our location offers our guests wonderful coastal views with walks along the South West Coastal Path, Coleridge Way and Exmoor National Park.
There are many small local harbours and beaches, salt marshes, beautiful rolling hills, heather moorland, streams and rivers,
National Trust thatched cottages and country houses, Dunster Castle, Exmoor Red Deer and Exmoor ponies, plenty of wildlife and birds and of course local clotted cream teas
On visiting the enchanting fishing harbour of Porlock Weir, you’ll find Andrew’s famous restaurant -The Café.
Also, several quality boutiques, a pub, hotel, an artisan bakery and so much more!
The larger popular village of Porlock has a good range of village shops, pubs and eateries, a museum and an excellent Visitors Centre and is best known for Porlock Hill
