The old Masonic Lodge is a listed building situated in a conservation area near to the centre of the historic market town of Shepton Mallet, which nestles in the beautiful Mendip Hills.

Offering clean and tidy accommodation for those travelling on a budget or working in the area (Bath and West Showground, Glastonbury Festival etc) with shops, cafes and bars within a few hundred yards, making us the ideal location for exploring the area.
We offer a range of accommodation from single, double and family.

All rooms come with colour TV. Free WiFi. Free self-service breakfast (serial tea, coffee and toast), and the use of a kitchen (between 8 AM and 8 PM) so that you can prepare your own food and save on the cost of eating out.

Once checked in, you will be given a key code allowing you to come and go as you please, with no restrictions on time (we only ask that when leaving early or arriving late, that you do so quietly for the sake of our other guests There is free tea and coffee available in the guest kitchen.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum
An absolute must see for all the boys, and maybe the girls to. You get to walk through Concord 002. Get up close to a fantastic collection of warbirds and enjoy all the interactive displays, and once you finish, you can go outside and watch the Royal Navy, practice takeoffs and landings for real and it's only a 20-minute drive from your bed and breakfast.

Cheddar Gorge.
Cheddar Gorge is one of the natural wonders of Britain with its stunning views and show caves. It makes a fun day out for all the family and to top it all. It's only 14 miles away from your accommodation and a beautiful drive across the Mendip Hills. Passing the village of priddy, and the Roman lead workings at Charterhouse

Longleat house (the home of Lord Bath)
Longleat offers a fantastic day out for the whole family with riverboat rides, a tour of the safari park visit to the house, and many other attractions including the world-famous Longleat maize (if you've got plenty of time on your hands). I still get lost every time I venture in. Only 16 miles from your B&B

Steamed up, take a visit to the East Somerset Railway, explore the carriage sheds and have a ride on this lovely little preserved railway.
