Converted 18th Century Barns in 250acre Nature Reserve
Folly Farm is a restored 18th century farmhouse and buildings, set within a 250-acre nature reserve complete with wildflower meadows, ancient woodland, an abundance of wildlife and breath-taking views across Chew Valley. This is the perfect location for you to explore and engage with the countryside - go badger spotting, tree climbing or watch the sunset across the valley.
We are a sustainable venue and offer eco-features: biomass central heating, solar hot water, rainwater harvesting, willow beds for treating waste water. Owned and managed by Avon Wildlife Trust, all profits go to support the work of the trust
All 10 B&B rooms open directly on to two large and beautiful courtyards with stunning views across the Chew Valley and nature reserve. Each room has a barn door, a desk and coffee making facilities, and an en suite shower room. Three have bath tubs and seven have an extra day bed.
Inside the large stone barns is a full bar available on request. We can provide a continental breakfast delivered to your room for £5 per person.
There is a fire pit which can be lit in the courtyard outside the rooms at night upon request.
All Covid guidelines have been implemented so you can rest assured.
The farmhouse is also available for exclusive use hire, to groups of two households and their bubbles - just £440 for 2 midweek nights, or £720 for a 2 night weekend.
Just 10 miles from central Bristol and Bath, and less than 20 minutes from Bristol Airport, Folly Farm’s location is convenient, yet peaceful, secluded and unspoiled.
