Ye Olde Dun Cow Bed and Breakfast is based in the gorgeous village of Colton in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside.

You can simply relax or enjoy a wide range of activities such as playing golf in one of the many nearby courses, cycling, fishing, walking, clay pigeon shooting and much more. There are many attractions in the area, and we are ideally situated if you are visiting just a few of the attractions in the area such as Alton Towers, Shugborough Hall, The County Showground, Cannock Chase, Blithfield Reservoir, Drayton manor theme park, the snow dome in Tamworth, Trentham Gardens, the famous potteries of Wedgewood, Spode and Moorcroft, Waterworld, Lichfield Cathedral or Go Ape in Cannock Chase - phew!!! And that is just the start of things to do!!

The bed and breakfast is close to Rugeley, Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield and Alton Towers.

Our rooms are of a very high standard and you’ll receive a warm welcome. If you fancy a fine wine or ale then you're in the right place as our B&B is also home to a traditional English Pub.

Public transport isn't great to our bed and breakfast in Staffordshire, however if you're arriving at any of the local train stations (Stafford or Rugeley), for a small fee we can potentially arrange a pickup. If you're driving then we're fairly close to the M6 and there is plenty of room to park.
