Harbour Lights Guest House
At the heart of the Sunrise Coast, Lowestoft is officially Britain's most easterly town - offering all the ingredients for a family holiday. It has award-winning sandy beaches, two lively piers, classic seafront gardens and the Edwardian-style East Point Pavilion. Visitors can see the once flourishing fishing port, then discover the town's rich history at several museums.
Lowestoft is steeped in history with over 300 years as a fishing port and crafts still take refuge from the sea here and experience good old fashioned hospitality.
Discover the Sunrise Coast - from the friendly resort of Lowestoft at Britain's most easterly point, to the classic seaside town of Southwold. Award-winning beaches and the southern gateway to The Broads.
Harbour Lights is situated opposite the South Beach and is run by Michael and Frances Hampshire. You home away from home, the warm and friendly welcome will set you at ease immediately. We offer quality accommodation open all year. Everything is close to the guesthouse - cross the road and you are on the promenade and beach and the town is a ten minute leisurely walk away.
We pride ourselves that our guest house is a friendly and comfortable environment, suitable for both holidaymakers and commercial travellers. Our breakfasts are substantial and the facilities immaculate. We let some of our rooms as singles and have three en suite rooms. Whether you are looking for a one-night stay, short break or week's holiday, let us make your stay a pleasurable one.
There is unrestricted parking on the roadside outside the house…and we also have limited private parking at the rear.
There are a variety of eating places within walking distance of the guesthouse including traditional fish and chips, Chinese, KFC and other small establishments on the promenade and in town.
