Great Yarmouth is only a short drive away about 30 minutes, which has many attractions with a horse racing track, also banger racing stadium. The World Bowls is held at Potters a short drive away.

Pleasurewood Theme Park is just north of Lowestoft town which is a wonderful place to take the children, Kessingland Wildlife Park is South of Lowestoft about 10 minutes drive away this has many types of wild animals on view, it also holds a car boot sale every Sunday and bank holidays during the season that it opens.

Southwold with its pleasure pier and the famous water clock and a public golf course, There is also the famous brewery of Adanm's with many types of beer brewed also a wonderfully stocked shop in Southwold centre, being a seaside town it has good fish and chip shops.

Southwold is about 45 minutes drive away from Lowestoft. There is also the Norfolk Broads close by with Oulton Broad and Everetts Park with 10 minutes drive away there is also a good train and bus service to many of the places mentioned here.
