The Rockery B&B
Welcome to The Rockery, your friendly bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of the Surrey Hills, surrounded by woodlands and wildlife. We are situated in the pretty village of Grayswood, on the edge of Haslemere. We offer two comfortable rooms, a double and a twin, both with TV and tea/coffee facilities. A bright shared bathroom is adjacent to the rooms.
A choice of breakfast, English or other, will be served to your requirements in the dinning room or, in Summer, outside in the garden if you prefer.
Parking is available on our private drive.
We welcome trades, businesses, students or holiday makers and will ensure you have a pleasant and relaxing stay with us.
We offer lifts to and from the town and station (direct links to London and Portsmouth) whenever possible.
The village boasts an award winning restaurant, The Wheatsheaf Inn, where one can enjoy a jovial atmosphere and delicious food and wine.
The beautiful countryside, much of it National Trust, and many footpaths around us will charm the nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
Our charismatic and enchanting vicar, holds Sunday services at 8:00 and 10:00 am at All Saints Church, on the Village Green, the later service being followed by tea/coffee in the village Hall, where you will feel very welcome indeed, should you choose to attend.
Haslemere, our local picturesque and historical town, situated just over one mile away, provides many good quality shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as amongst other places, a very interesting museum where one can admire an Egyptian Mummy and a mummified cat.
In the grounds of the museum is a large glassed working beehive, a pond and a historical Ha! Ha!
Personally I think The Haslemere Museum is truly worth a visit.
It also has a list of organised and informative historical or nature walks in and around the town.
A wonderfully attractive local produce market is held in the town on the first Sunday of the month.
There are many places to visit around Haslemere, such as The Rural Life Centre, Petworth House and Deer Park, Winkworth Arboretum, and many others.
Good Sporting facilities, horse riding, golf, tennis, swimming and more are available nearby.
