Abbey Farm Bed & Breakfast
Located just outside the market town of Atherstone, Abbey Farm Bed and Breakfast is set among beautiful rolling countryside, and enjoying stunning views across the lake to Merevale Hall.
Abbey Farm enjoys its own piece of history being on the site of the original Merevale Abbey - its ruins are still evident in the garden and is where Henry VII stayed before the Battle of Bosworth.
All our rooms are very large doubles, twins can be accommodated, and are either en-suite or have private bathroom. A hearty English breakfast is included and there is a lovely lounge to relax in.
All bedrooms are on the first floor and have stunning views. All have heating, a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a comfy seating area, free WiFi, hairdryer and a hospitality tray.
Prices range from £65 to £70 per night, per room for double occupancy, with single occupancy at £55 per night, per room.
Check-in at Abbey Farm is from 3pm to 8pm. Guests arriving before this time may leave luggage, and guests arriving after this time are requested to let us know in advance. Check out is 11am.
Up to two children up to the age of 12 can share a room with two paying adults on a fold-down bed at a cost of £10 per child. Please note the large lake in the grounds is unfenced.
Abbey Farm is just five miles from the M42 at Junction 10 and is off the A5 at Atherstone, close to the NEC and the towns of Tamworth, Nuneaton and Hinckley.
The attractions of Market Bosworth and the Battlefield, Drayton Manor Park, Arbury Hall, Mallory Park Racing Circuit, Tamworth Snowdome, The Belfry, Conkers and Twycross Zoo are within reasonable travelling distance.
We have one room available to accommodate a dog. Dogs are welcome to stay provided that they are well behaved and clean on arrival. A charge of £5 is payable per night.
Come and stay at Abbey Farm and bring your horse for a short break. DIY livery stable and grazing available. A charge of £15 is payable per horse, per night.
Whether visiting for business or pleasure, to stroll through the fields around the lake with views to Merevale Hall and to walk among the Abbey ruins, a stay at Abbey Farm is an absolute delight and one we look forward to welcoming you to.
