Musgrove House

The house has just undergone a complete refurbishment from floor to ceiling and everything in between, and we have just been awarded a 4* rating from the AA, as well as being awarded their breakfast award.

Musgrove House has three fantastic en suite bedrooms, each one unique and different. We also have off street parking for your car, motorbike or bicycle, depending on your preferred mode of transport. All the rooms have brand new and extremely comfortable posturepaedic or pocket sprung mattresses with high quality crisp cotton bedlinen. In each room we offer High Definition LCD Televisions which have their own built in DVD players, iPod/iPhone radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, a wide range of in room beverages with fresh milk and we also supply bottles of freshly filtered water.

The bathrooms all have rainbath showers and fluffy Egyptian cotton towels, Molton Brown bath and shower products, and heated towel rails, as well as shaving mirrors and shaver points.

All our breakfast products are locally sourced and/or home made, and we do our very best to make your breakfast the perfect start to your day, and your stay at Musgrove a memorable one.

Musgrove House is located just to the east of Chichester, a Roman city famous for its magnificent Cathedral, and attractions such as the Pallant House Gallery and the Jazz Festival. We are a 10 minute direct walk to the city centre, and only about 15 minutes walk from the train station. Gatwick and Southampton airports are within 45 miles of Chichester for visitors from abroad.

Chichester Festival Theatre with its many world famous shows (many of which such as Enron and Yes Minister, have transferred to London's West End) is roughly a 15 minute walk from the house.

We are perfectly placed for Goodwood, being within 3 miles of the motor circuit where the Revival and Festival of Speed are held, and only 6 miles from the racecourse for Glorious Goodwood and other racing events.

The surrounding area offers the South Downs National Park, beaches, castles, cathedrals, country houses, gardens and estates in the most beautiful settings. Nearby attractions include Fontwell Races, Fishbourne Roman Palace, West Dean Gardens, Weald and Downland Open Air museum, Arundel Castle, and Bosham, a picturesque village with a stunning mediaeval church where King Canute's daughter is supposedly buried.
