Set quietly in what was the grounds of Kington Manor, we aim to provide an environment for our guests that will enhance the feeling of well-being and enjoyment. Relax in our pretty walled garden or conservatory if the weather should be inclement.
We are 2 minutes from rolling Wiltshire countryside, the church of Kington St Michael, the village community shop, a working farm and local inn. The are many excellent pub/restaurants in the surrounding villages also.
We enjoy catering for special diets, gluten-free, dairy- free, and vegetarian. Should you have any special requirements we are always willing to help whenever we can.
Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, 2 miles from Jn 17 M4. Arch House is a short drive from the Georgian city of Bath. It is an easy drive to the stress- free Landsown Park and Ride.
Alternatively there is s frequent and quick train service from Chippenham main line station to the city centre. Bristol with its maritime history is but a 30-minute drive or 20 minutes by train again from Chippenham station. The Cotswolds, with the market town of Cirencester, and many Wiltshire attractions, Bowood House, Dryham Park, Lacock National Trust Village and Abbey, Stourhead House and Gardens, and Castle Coombe village are but a short drive away.
The ancient sites of Stonehenge and Avebury along with Sibury Hill are in easy reach. Close by for those interested in sport, are Badminton Horse Trial, Gatecombe Park Horse Trials, Castle Coombe car racing circuit and several golf courses. For walkers and cyclists there are waymarked paths and cycle ways.
