Broadwell House is a grade 2 listed family house over 300 hundred years old set within a walled garden with enclosed gated parking facilities. Situated in the heart of Wiltshire in Market Lavington on the edge of Salisbury Plain, Broadwell House is located close to some of Wiltshire's finest landscapes and monuments.
With heritage sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury and the historical cities of Bath and Salisbury only 40 minutes drive away one can fulfil a great day out. Once in Bath there is much to enjoy, one can walk round the Roman Baths and if sport is your passion, a trip to the recreation ground to see Bath Rugby play is well worth it.
Salisbury offers the chance to visit the 13th century cathedral. If one is looking for less of a drive, the local towns of Devizes and Marlborough offer much to enjoy. Devizes is on the Kennet & Avon canal and is famous for a flight of 29 locks and beautiful canal paths. Longleat House and the Safari Park, near Warminster are another must see attraction.
The accommodation is offered in a spacious twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom. Tea & coffee making facilities and TV with Freeview are provided. Sky Sports is available in the sitting room. Broadwell House offers a comfortable and stylish base. Evening meals can be arranged or you can enjoy evening meals from one of the great local pubs or even an Indian or Chinese takeaway, which are available in the village.
Today Market Lavington offers a large variety of facilities including mini supermarket, a pharmacist, a butcher, a newsagent's shop, a post office, two hairdressers, two pubs and other small businesses.
