Full English and Continental breakfasts are served in our farmhouse kitchen, with the Aga to keep you warm in the winter months.
Barn House also offers self catering accommodation for up to 6 people in two bedrooms, with a fully fitted, eat-in kitchen and private access. Bookings can be made for 3 to 7 day breaks. Longer stays can be negotiated.
Graham and Theresa have lived at Barn House since 1992 and since that time have developed both the house and gardens to what they are today. Barn House, built from natural stone, is a single story building dating from 19th Century, it was first converted from a farm building to a dwelling in 1910.
Graham is a keen gardener and the two acre grounds keep him busy. Two of our three children have held their wedding receptions in the gardens, which look stunning in June when all the roses are in bloom. Come summer there is a blaze of colour from the many summer bedding plants and old fashioned country cottage flowers. Keen gardeners should note that Graham is always happy to swap cuttings!!
