Quidhampton Mill Bed & Breakfast brings a fresh, modern approach to the hospitality scene in Salisbury. With a 5 star rating from the AA the first show stopper are our views. Built on land that used to belong to the Wilton Estate, the Mill looks directly over water meadows and the Wylye River so the only thing our guests see are grazing sheep and cows - plus one of the resident herons on the river if they're lucky! And all less than 10 minutes drive from Salisbury City Centre.

Our 3 guest rooms - The Cabin, The Bolthole and The Loft - are all built within a separate guest house just steps from the main house. For our guests that means extra privacy and total independence with a buzzer for the electric entrance gates, ample parking and their own front door. But when they step inside one of our brand new rooms they might not want to think about leaving.

We had great fun designing the rooms. We didn't want any of the traditional features normally associated with a B&B. So there are no heavy curtains with swags, pelmets, valances, carpets or magnolia walls. Ignoring all the frills and fuss we wanted clean, crisp, simplicity but something that was going to be memorable. Using bold yet muted colours from Farrow and Ball we created a backdrop. Then we thought of things we'd like to find in a room; luxurious goose down duvets and pillows, flat screen wall mounted TVs, painted wooden floors with coir rugs, beautiful bathrooms for indulgent soaking and pure white towels.

Naturally the award winning breakfast we serve is of the same high quality using free range and locally sourced produce. In addition to the full English and Continental options we serve daily specials such as homemade waffles with apple and cinnamon compote and homemade American style blueberry pancakes with syrup. We also serve authentic speciality coffees such as cappucino, latte and espresso - great with one of our delicious flowerpot muffins!
