Bed and Breakfast 'Het Consulaat' opened its doors in September 2007 after a one-year renovation of the interior. Our three guestrooms are equipped with modern and high quality furniture, television, wireless Internet and showers. The rooms are completely different in style, people can choose between the Romantic (85 euros per night), Classical (65 euros per night) or Modern rooms (75 euros per night).

B&B Het Consulaat is situated in a calm street in the centre of Bruges. Built on the remains of a medieval convent and for almost half a century the honorary consulate of Portugal in Brugge, this Bed and Breakfast house offers all you may desire, whether your stay in Brugge is long or short, for business or for pleasure.

In the mornings, we serve a superb breakfast with freshly baked bread, croisans, bread with raisins, juices, cereals, ham and cheese, fruits, coffee, tea and milk. A kitchen is at your disposal day and night.

You may use our large garage to park your car during your stay (5 euros/night). On foot, you are a mere 10 mins away from the main square (900 m), and public transport is at a stone-throw from our door (two bus stops at less than 3 mins walk).
