We have lots of information about hiking and biking tours. Those who like to visit a city can go to Ghent and Brugges in less then half an hour (by train). You can join us for dinner or you can try one of the restaurants in the village. Some nice places to visit: Ghent, Brugges, Oostende, Brussels, Deinze, Zomergem, ...

B&B de Meetjes has 3 rooms with private bathroom .When the weather is nice it is possible to take breakfast in the garden.

Ghent is the most beautiful city in Vlaanderen. By train it takes 13 minutes to get there, or you can go by bike, it is only 14 km. We lived several years in Ghent and we know wich are the best places to visit.
The train takes you to Bruges in half an hour. By train it takes 45 minutes to go to Oostend
You reach Brussels in 45'.
In 'de meetjes' you can find all the information you need to have a nice day in Brussels. '100% Brussels' and 'Trotter van België' will help you.

How to find us:
By car:
Who comes from Antwerp or Brussels takes Direction 'Oostende'. 15 km after Ghent take 'uitrit 12 - Nevele. Then take left 'Hansbeke'.After 1 km you see a bakery at the right side (Deolet), but you go left. (Kapellestraat) Then take the first right, this is the Molenstraat. You can find 'de meetjes' in number 9.
By train:
Take an ic-train to Ghent. In Gent- Sint Pieters take an L train to Bruges. The 4th stop is Hansbeke. Who comes from Oostende takes an ic-train to Bruges, get an L-train in Bruges that goes to Gent.
