Villa Bistritsa
This beautiful traditional Bulgarian hotel has 4 double bedrooms and a double family suite which also has a double sofa bed in the lounge area. All rooms are en-suite and have television, balcony and Wireless Internet. The Villa also has a Sauna to blow away that city grime. On the ground floor there is a cosy Bar and restaurant where tasty traditional meals are served.
Villa Bistritsa boasts a swimming pool set amongst beautiful natural gardens. The views are breath taking and the air second to none. At the bottom of the garden next to the River Bistritsa sits a lovely Pergola and BBQ area. A perfect place to relax and unwind in the tranquil settings possibly with a glass of one of the many Bulgarian wines or beers.
Bistritsa is set in the foothills of the Rila Mountains and is only 5 Km from the bustling market town of Dupnitsa. The Cosmopolitan city of Blagoevgrad with it's American University is 35 Km. Kuystendil the regional town is 45 km. Other interesting towns to visit are Samakov, Borovets, Sapareva Banya and the ski lifts of nearby Panichishte all in close proximity, and of course the capital City of Sofia is only 65 Km.
Dupnita Park is within walking distance, which has numerous cafes and restaurants, an Olympic sized swimming pool, BBQ areas, a boating lake, children’s play areas, as well as many sporting facilities.
The famous Rila Monastery is a must to see and is a one hour drive from Bistritsa.
The Rila National Park is literally on the doorstep which has hundreds of miles of walking trails and is rich in Flora and Fona, and of course the 'seven lakes' are a must to visit.
