Set in the heart of the Cathar country, our 17th century bed and breakfast, la Giraudasse, is an ideal base for exploring the Corbieres region, to visit the vineyards or to go hiking. The lofty Cathar castles of Peyrepertuse and Queribus, and the spectacular Galamus Gorge are just a few of the famous sights nearby. Our guesthouse is 1H30 from Carcassone and Collioure.
Restored and decorated with its original features, our five bedrooms are very comfortable, cosy and well equiped with quality bedding.
Its beautiful wood and period staircase with the terracotta tiled floors, its living-room, its dining-room with high ceilings provide an exhibition space for contemporary and Latin-American artists.
In our bed and breakfast, there are one reading area where information on activities in the region, its historical heritage, wines and walking tracks can be consulted.
Our south-facing terrace and garden provide the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The dramatic and wild nature, rich in contrasts and colors, including vineyards, garrigue and mountains make our area ideal for hiking. In addition, there are many places to go swimming in the rivers.

Our excellent table d'hote offers Mediterranean, healthy and tasty cooking. Our guesthouse has good references in Michelin guides, Gites de France, AA guide, and Guide du Routard.
