B&B Maison Neuve

You can find our charming 'Chambres d'hôtes' about 14 km from Ambert, between Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine and Grandval (D37). Grandval is a small authentic village in the Auvergne, in the department 'Puy de Dome' nr. 63. During your stay you can enjoy the nature and silence around us. For this purpose we already a set of various wandering maps available.

We, Bea and Hans, will be pleased to show you the nice places, markets and fine restaurants in the surrounding area.

We also invite you to join us with our 'Table d'hôtes' (Table of the host) for diner, to taste our local and own grown regional products

We have a non-smoking Chambres d'hôtes. The smoking area is in the garden.

In September 2005 we, Bea en Hans, have started to renovate our 'New House'. We would like to share this nice house and its beautiful surroundings with you.

For this reason, we have 4 double bedrooms (from 12 until 15 square meters, depending on the room) with their own bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin). We serve the well-known Bed & Breakfast. It is also possible to place an extra (baby)bed in the rooms.

We also have a gîte / Self catered rental (1 - 6 persons) with a sitting area (app. 15 square meters), a kitchen/diner (app. 15 square meters), two sleeping areas (app. 13 square meters) and two private bathrooms (shower, toilet and washbasin). It is also possible to place an extra baby bed in the gîte.

We are open during the whole year.

The year around you can do a lot of things in the neighbourhood to enjoy you. Every season has its own charms. During winter we are reasonable sure of snow (January / February) because we live at 820 meters altitude.

We shall be pleased to help you to plan your day.

During the winter you can enjoy the snow 'by ski' at 'Station Chalmazel', only 40 km from us.

In the evening we offer you the possibility to enjoy our 'Table d'hôtes' (Table of the host). We are not allowed to offer an à la carte menu, but in case of special wishes as special diet, please let us know and we shall see to do something special.

We also can provide you with sandwiches to take away (please reserve the evening before for both the table d'hôtes and/or sandwiches).
