Le Pelateau Bed & Breakfast, Gite Accommodation

Le Pelateau is situated in the beautiful little village of Montgibaud. Montgibaud can be found in the Correze; a department of the Limousin. Le Pelateau's position is ideal for visiting/house hunting in both the Correze and the Haute Vienne departments of the Limousin and the Dordogne; or as a mid-way stop over on your way to the south. Montgibaud is situated just 10 minutes off exit 42 on the A20 and only 45 minutes drive from Limoges airport.

The views from Le Pelateau are breathtaking due to Montgibaud's elevated position. The location of Le Pelateau is perfect for those wishing to relax and enjoy the Limousin countryside. Both walking and cycle routes can be found on the village square and further routes are available. New for 2009 is our plunge pool available to all guests.

Montgibaud boasts a very good restaurant and local amenities can be found 5km away in the village of Meuzac; 8km away Lubersac offers full amenities including 2 supermarkets. A lake with a bathing area and fishing can be found 5km away in Meuzac; an ideal distance for a leisurely bike ride or walk. Ample off road parking is available at the house.

The Garden Suite consists of three rooms, one double bedroom with a balcony overlooking the garden, a twin bedroom and a shower room comprising a shower, wc and hand basin. Tea and Coffee making facilities are available in both rooms; this suite is available for 70 euros per night including breakfast. An extra bed can be made available in either room within the suite upon request. The suite would suit a family with children or couples who do not mind sharing the shower room.

The Orchard Room is a large, dual aspect, double room with ensuite shower room, comprising a shower, WC and hand basin. The room has beautiful views over the orchard and beyond. Tea and Coffee making facilities are available in the room; this room is available for 50 euros per night including breakfast. An extra bed can be made available in this room.

The Village Room is a large, sunny, dual aspect double room with ensuite shower room comprising a shower, WC and hand basin. Tea and Coffee making facilities are available in the room; this room is available for 50 euros per night including breakfast. An extra bed can be made available in this room.

A good home cooked evening meal is available at 20 euros per person, this includes a carafe of wine per couple; the meal must be booked in advance.

A BBQ is available for all guests to use if we are not using it for our special BBQ evenings, which are held once a week in summer.

Le Pelateau also has a cottage, which is available to rent. The cottage is separate from the main house and can accommodate up to 6 people.
