Situated in the beautiful Deux-Sevres region of the Piotou-Charentes.
As we are situated in the countryside our home is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday, house hunting or as a stopover on a longer journey.

Ideal location for cycling, walking, fishing, swimming, painting or photography.

We offer a large family ensuite room with a double and a single bed, satellite tv/dvd, tea/coffee making facilities and the possibility to add another childs bed if needed.

Internet connection is available.

Evening meals can be provided if ordered in advance, although the nearby towns of Villefagnan, Ruffec and Chef-Boutonne all offer good facilities for eating out.
There is a no smoking policy within the main house but the smokers amongst out guests are welcome to use the garden for this purpose.

For sightseeing there are historic towns, coastal areas, Chateau's and traditonal french markets.
Cognac here you can visit the distilleries and sample different flavours of the famous drink.

The French refer to the Deux-Sevres as La France profonde - The real France.
Visit the areas many market towns to get a taste of the real French life at the lively markets of Lezay, Ruffec, Chef-Boutonne, Aigre, and Aulnay to name but a few!

The coast is 70 minutes drive away to La Rochelle where you will find the old harbour that was built in the 13th century and some of the 14th and 15th century towers still stand, Royan is at the mouth of the Gironde, Rochfort is at the heart of the Charente-Maritime.
