Mas de flory

Stay at our lovely old, stone Mas nestled in the tranquil, wooded countryside of the Bouriane, between the Lot and Dordogne rivers in sunny south west France..
Mas de Flory is situated on the edge of a small village with a bar, shop, post office and auberge, and is surrounded by lovely countryside with peaceful, far-reaching views.

We have converted the old barn, which stands at the edge of the courtyard, into very comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people.

You will stay in one of the large, light and airy rooms, which are newly decorated in a fresh country style - each with its own smart en-suite shower room.

There are also two spacious dining areas - one inside and one on the terrace overlooking the tranquil countryside beyond - and a mezzanine lounge where you will find comfortable sofas with a selection of books, magazines and games plus a music system for your entertainment.

With plenty of outside space - on the terrace, the large garden area and countryside and forest beyond - you have the choice whether to just sit and enjoy the sunshine or take one of the lovely local walks to relax and absorb the peace and quiet.

We are in a beautiful and unspoilt area of France - the Lot is one of the largest and least populated departments.

From here you can explore the widely varying terrain from lush river valley to gently rolling countryside, to shady green forest and rocky limestone causse.
Visit the famous village, abbey and chateau of Rocamadour. A mediaeval settlement and renowned site for pilgrims, which clings precariously to dramatic limestone cliffs above the valley.

Or discover other nearby sites of interest: Pech-Merle Grottos, with their ancient cave paintings; the wonderful underground chasm of Padirac; St-Cirq-Lapopie - officially one of the prettiest villages in France, perched high above the winding Cele river.

Prices are for bed and breakfast per double room per week :
May, June and September: 350 euros
July and August: 430 euros
(Daily rate available on request)
Optional evening meal - 4 courses with wine and coffee - 25 euros per person (to be reserved a day in advance).
