Le Grand Rio

Le Grand Rio was originally a farm built more than 100 years ago. Many years later the land of the farmhouse was divided up into smaller parts and today the old farmhouse itself is partitioned into two houses, the older part of which has been the home of Eileen and Andy Taylor since April 2006. Originally from the South East of England, Eileen and Andy have been firmly established in France since December 2004 with their sons Drew and Ryan.

Le Grand Rio is a charming Longere, which has been renovated to a high standard offering two double bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. Third (twin-bedded) room shortly to be available to provide a suite with one of the doubles - ideal for a family of four or three/four friends.

Room facilities:
Both double rooms have their own shower and toilet facilities. Each room, except the twin bedded room, has a large double bed
Both double rooms have television and radio facilities in each room. Tea and coffee making facilities in each room.

Vigneux is situated:
To the North West of Nantes
20 kilometres from the centre of Nantes
50 kilometres from the sea
Both Vannes and Rennes are easily accessible to Nantes
Nantes Atlantique airport is only 20 minutes from Vigneux.
There are also many very good golf courses in the area, from the local course in Vigneux (5km from Le Grand Rio) to courses at La Baule, Guerande, Pornic etc around 40-50 kms from le Grand Rio.
