L'atelier d'Agones

Here, you can put on your hiking shoes to go for a hike from the front door. The Ste Micise is a well-known hike. The Buèges Valley is 20 mn drive, you will find there plenty of hikes all level and wonderful villages to visit. If you come during summer, hiking will be pleasing on the Mont Aigoual where you will always find fresh air.
You can take your bike and go for a ride to Buèges valley or the Gorges de la Vis River. Roads around are pleasant for riding.

Don't forget your climbing material as the Rocks are 10 mn walk from home. The Thaurac area (10 mn drive), with all level of climb but also the Buèges rocks are 20 mn from the house.

Other sports are also accessible such as paragliding you can go the Seranne Mount. The Hérault River will welcome you for swimming and canoe-kayak.

You can also go for sightseeing to visit the Demoiselle cave at St Bauzille de Putois, the cirque de navacelle, Le Vigan and its Cevenne live Museum. A little bit further you can visit Anduze with it train and the babouseraie and of course Montpellier the great Languedoc city.

At 35 mn from Montpellier, the Atelier is ideally located for tourism activities in the city (tramline parking). So why not be hosted in the calm village and go for a walk in the city or for cultural activities (Fabre Museum, Agropolis Museum) its festivals (Printemps des Comédiens, Radio France Festival, Mediterranean Films Festival, Montpellier danse or visit the zoo and the Amazonian greenhouse.
