Bed & Breakfast / Chambres d'hotes 'Les Camelias de Pallus'

Our XVIII th century house is located in the middle of the vineyards of Cabernet Franc wine of Chinon and next to the forest at 2.30 hours driving South-west of Paris by A10 motorway.

We propose 3 bedrooms:
The suite is an apartment (80 m2) consisting of one large bedroom with beautiful exposed support beams and floor-level windows, a bathroom with a tub, a sitting room, a separate toilet, and a second bedroom. Up to 4/5 people can comfortably live in the Suite. The view overlooks the garden flowered with many roses and the swimming pool.

The Mathilde’ bedroom is a double room on the first floor, with bathroom with a tub and toilets ; it overlooks on the vineyards and the garden.
The Bamboos bedroom is a double room on the ground floor, with en-suite shower room and toilets.

Contented appetites are assured after beginning the day with a breakfast consisting of fresh fruits salad, warmed “viennoiseries”, bread, homemade preserves, fresh orange juice, and homemade cake.

Good food lovers will enjoy our dinners cooked with local and seasonal products served with a Chinon wine.

Many local activities are closed to our house such as:
- Royal Castle and fortresses: Chinon, Azay le Rideau, Amboise, Loches, Ussé, Villandry, Langeais, etc - Churches and abbeys
- The Valley of the Kings route
- Gardens
- Arts and crafts
- Walks, cycle rides, carriage rides, boating
- The homes of great French writers
- Cave-dwelling villages
We do not forget children who will enjoy visiting:
- Miniature châteaux of the Loire
- Ussé, the Sleeping Beauty Castle
- Museums: hunting, silk, aviation, mushrooms, tanks, etc.
- Zoo, Aquarium, tree-top aventure parcs, etc.
- Futuroscope

We are happy to help our guests in organizing their stay like visits and tastings of wine in selected Chinon’s caves, booking restaurants and promenade on the gabare (local flat-bottomed barge), renting bicycles, and giving them information on the most interesting castles built during the different times of history (Middle age and Renaissance) and many other needs.
