Le Petit Havre B&B

Ambiance anglaise, cuisine française'. What I mean by that is that the welcome is English but the food is French!

That's one reason why I'm here. The other is my peaceful, lovely Breton house, here in Pordic with its acre of beautiful, south-facing gardens. Situated only a short walk from a quiet beach, bordered by the coastal path with its fabulous walks and stunning views we are only a five-minute drive from the pretty little resort of Binic, with its wide range of excellent restaurants and crêperies.

Driving slightly further afield we are scarcely an hour from historic St-Malo, Dinan, Dinard, the pink-granite coast and many more beautiful locations. Cheap flights are available to local airports so we are ideally placed for short breaks. Being situated just an hour from the port at St-Malo and Dinard airport, or an hour-and-a-half from Roscoff and the airport at Brest, we provide an excellent first/last stop on a touring holiday to rest and refresh.

For your comfort there is a private entrance to the airy living-room, mezzanine and spacious sun-room which has direct access to the garden. The comfortable bedrooms all have private shower- or bathroom and WC. The charming, ground-floor double room opens onto a private part of the sun-lounge with direct access to the garden. Breakfast can be served here if you wish.

You can breakfast in the garden or sun-room on freshly-brewed coffee and freshly-fetched French bread, croissants or pains au chocolat, served with preserves made with fruit from my own garden.

There is excellent French cuisine to be found at local, personally-recommended restaurants. But if you would rather I am happy to provide plates and cutlery for you to eat (but not cook!) your own food in the breakfast room or garden.
