B&B Mistletoe

Mistletoe bed and breakfast is run by the 0'Neill family who moved from the UK 9 years ago to the Tarn area of the Midi Pyrenees. The house is set in it's own grounds, surrounded by gardens and peaceful countryside.

The B&B has independent access from the main house and has it's own balcony with table and chairs. Parking is within the grounds. The room consists of a double bed and double sofabed, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet, table and chairs, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

You also have unlimited access to the swimming pool. Ideally situated 1hr from Toulouse, the pink city, cosmopolitan city centre and space city, well worth a visit as is Carcassonne, again 1hr away.

The beautiful castle at Carcassonne is virtually intact and was used in the Kevin Costner film Robin Hood. Other places to visit within easy reach are Cordes sur Ciel, medieval town near Albi, the Cathar ruins of Montségur, the Black Mountains and famous natural granite parks in the Sidobre.

A little further afield and you have the Pyrenees to explore and the Mediterranean coast with miles of sandy beaches. We have many varied restaurants in the area to cater for every taste, from quick pizzas and Chinese buffet to seafood and more traditional French cuisine at prices to suit everyone's budget, just ask for recommendations!

Locally there are many trails to walk, flat or hilly, starting from the house or further afield, ask us for maps. There are 2 big markets, very typically French, worth visiting at Lavaur and Revel and whilst at Revel, picnic by the lake St Ferriol. In fact there are many lakes worth visiting as they have been developed into tourist attractions with life guarded swimming, sailing, windsurfing etc. in the area.

For the more adventurous you hire canoes or kayaks and navigate the rivers or tackle the ropes course nearby. Locally we have 2 large water parks, golf, horse riding, paintballing and quad biking but you can also just chill by the pool!

There are shops within walking distance or the larger hypermarkets and shopping centres a 15 minute drive away.
