La Grange Fleurie
La Grange Fleurie, situated on the edge of the village of Tramayes and at a height of 460 metres, offers stunning views down the Valouzin valley and across the valley to the tree covered slopes of La Mère Boitier - the highest point in the Mâconnais range.
In the unspoiled countryside of a tranquil agricultural community, it is within easy reach of Mâcon and Cluny and on the edge of the Beaujolais and Mâconnais wine producing areas, where the delights of the Gamay, Chardonnay, Aligoté and Pinot grapes can be sampled and enjoyed.
If you want to just sit and relax it’s a great place to be, but if you want to see and do things there is much to occupy you.
The area is rich in chateaux and Romanesque churches and at Cluny there are the magnificent remains of the ancient Abbey. For hikers and bikers, trails are sign-posted across country and for the equestrian there are local schools and the National Stud at Cluny.
Streams and lake provide facilities for fisher and swimmer.
And there are always the restaurants!
La Grange Fleurie, recently modernised without losing any of the charm of the lovely stonework and woodwork of an 1837 country building, offers you the choice of six large bedrooms with en suite facilities and each attractively decorated with a different flower theme.
A two-bedroom apartment, especially equipped for handicapped guests, is also available as bed and breakfast accommodation.
Breakfast and space to relax is provided in the comfort of our 80m² salon.
