Château La Mothaye offers both a charming as well as a luxurious Bed and Breakfast in the valley of the Loire.

La Mothaye is a 19th century castle, which has maintained its original character with panelled walls, open fireplaces and a grand entrance. Entering our château is like entering a fairytale, reviving days of old. However, its luxury is not just in its appearance, but also in modern features, which would make any guest feel comfortable and welcome.

In your room, you will experience this charm and character of the past, combined with all the luxury and comfort a modern accommodation should have nowadays, so all four (family)bed rooms have well equipped private bathrooms.

The unique combination of modernization, old grandeur, lovely countryside and a swimming pool will make your stay a memorable one for any kind of holiday.

La Mothaye, is set in the centre of 35 ha (90 acres) of secluded parkland and forest. From here you can easily discover the Loire region. Spending a night in a real chateau is a lovely experience and as our guest you not only enjoy this revival of the past, but also a swimming pool and all other facilities our estate has to offer.

We have four beautifully decorated bedrooms for our guests. All rooms have a double bed, ensuite facilities, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, towels, Tv and DVD. Free Wifi is available in the salon.

La Mothaye is only five minutes from the motorway A85. Ideally located just a 50-minutes drive south of le Mans and situated between Angers and Saumur. Paris take 2,5 hrs by car. Within comfortable distance of la Mothaye you can discovers the castles, historical towns, abbeys, vineyards and much more.

Also ideal for a stopover on your way to the south west of france or on your way back to Callais.
