La Jeusselinière Chambre d'hote (Bed & Breakfast)
La Jeusselinière is located in the beautiful Mayenne countryside offering peace and tranquility. Ideally located for exploring the Pays de la Loire, Brittany and Normandy areas with places to visit such as the world heritage sites of Fougeres and Mont Saint Michel, the medieval towns of Vitré and Dinan, cities such as Rennes, Le Mans and Angers as well as the historic war memorial and D-Day landing sites.
La Jeusselinière is a 17th century farmhouse set in 2 acres on the edge of the village of Larchamp. We have three en-suite bed and breakfast rooms and offer table d'hôte evening meals in the restaurant converted from the old cattle barn.
Each of the rooms are tastefully decorated and provide en-suite shower rooms, satellite television, free WIFI and have tea & coffee making facilities. Each of the bedrooms have comfortable beds with latex mattresses and feather duvets and pillows giving you a good nights sleep (man made fibre pillows and duvet available on request).
Breakfast is served in the guest dining room and consists of fresh croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, toast, cereals, fruit, juice, hot drinks and home made yoghurts and jams.
Evening meals are also served and are freshly cooked using local and home grown produce - a five course a la carte menu with wine costs 23 euros a person. Light lunches and afternoon teas are also available by request.
We also have a one bedroomed gite available for guests, which has been tastefully decorated and provides all the home comforts you need. We also provide facilities for babies such as cots, baths, changing mats, high chairs, playpens etc.
Externally the property is set in 2 acres and provides lots of quiet secluded areas for guests to sit and enjoy with a glass of wine. For the more energetic there is a swimming pool and bicycles to explore the pretty countryside. The local village of Larchamp is a 10 minute stroll to the centre and has a bar, restaurant, bakery, post office and shop with butchery counter. A warm welcome guaranteed!
