Chateau de Roussac sits in the quiet village of Roussac, in the Haute Vienne and is yet only 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Limoges city centre. The hotels 3 en-suite rooms are decorated in a contemporary style that complements and enriches the history and character of the chateau.

The chateau dining room overlooks the historic courtyard. You will be dining amongst beautiful paintings and antique furniture. Too late for the restaurants or too tired to be bothered? We can provide an 'emergency plateful' pates, cheeses, fresh bread and a bottle of our house wine. Lunch and evening meals are available. Food is sourced locally where possible, with a strong preference for organically produced fruit and vegetables.
Treat yourself to afternoon tea at Chateau Roussac. The Chateau serves an english afternoon tea, it includes a variety of teas and coffee and is served in a traditional style which includes scrumptious cakes scones and sandwiches.
Opposite the courtyard gates sits the ancient XIII Century chapel of Saint Anne belonging to the Chateau and written about in many a French history book. Please take the time to look around and delve deep into the history of the Chateau.
The Potting shed, with its antique chairs and late night honesty bar, you will find a comfortable and charming spot to listen to the soothing background music whilst sipping your pre-dinner drinks or simply relax with a cappuccino and pastry! The drawing room in the chateau has a historic open fireplace with the fragrant smell of burning logs, sumptuous George Smith chesterfields and richly upholstered furniture and paintings, this room oozes historic charm.
The Reading room has a vast selection of books for you to choose from and to relax with in front of the wood burning stove. Why not sit back and relax and take your afternoon tea amongst them. Whether you are just treating someone special to a surprise getaway, celebrating an anniversary or birthday or even popping the question we have lots of ideas. The Chambres d'hotes has three beautiful gardens, walk through the large wooden gates, and you are greeted immediately by our original granite cobbled courtyard. Continue on into the three acres of tranquil parkland, and take your time to explore the many different areas of the grounds.
Relax in the sun drenched Pellegrini gardens, take a stroll in the walled parkland, or unwind in the beauty of the fragrant lavender gardens.
Enjoy a summer evening, drinking wine and relaxing in the various sun traps throughout the gardens. If you are lucky, you may even see the family of white owls who frequent the turret from time to time.
