Les Glycines B & B
Les Glycines is a charming town house in the centre of pretty Huelgoat. We were recently told by guests not to change a thing, that 'the welcome had been perfect' and that ' it was better than most hotels we have stayed in'.
We have 3 en-suite bedrooms, providing a base for explorers, be it on foot, by bike or by car.
The Twin Room is on the ground floor, with 2 single beds. Room tariff is 65 euros per night, breakfast included. Single occupancy: 50 euros per night, breakfast included.
The White Room is on the first floor, with a double bed. Room tariff is 63 euros per night, breakfast included. Single occupancy: 50 euros per night, breakfast included.
The Cream Room is on the first floor, with a double bed. A supplementary bed for a third person can be added. Room tariff for 2 people is 65 euros per night, breakfast included. Supplementary bed: 18 euros per night, breakfast included.
Guests are welcome to use the Breakfast Room at any time for picnics (there is a fridge, kettle and microwave and, of course, tea and coffee-making facilities).
Breakfast is fresh bread and croissants (from the boulangerie round the corner), locally made Breton crepes, jams and honey, cereals, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, a selection of teas and hot chocolate.
We have WiFi.
We can provide dry cover for all bikes.
The town sits on the edge of a beautiful 600 hectare forest and also surrounds a large lake which flows into the Riviere d'Argent over huge granite boulders, a feature of this area.
There are restaurants, cafes and bars, local shops, small galleries, a weekly market, supermarket and bank.
Ideally situated for walkers and cyclists enjoying the beautiful Parc Naturel Regional d'Armorique, and the Monts D'Arree, Huelgoat is also in a great location for exploring further afield: the dramatic northern coastline, the wide sandy beaches of western and southern Finistere, the Crozon Peninsula as well as the picturesque towns of Morlaix & Quimper.
